| Vesta is easily visible with the naked eye and is the
brightest of all asteroids.
It was discovered by Heinrich W. M. Olbers on March 29, 1807 while he was using his telescope. It has a diameter of 240 miles and it takes 3.63 years to orbit the Sun. |
