Student evaluations indicating effort and academic progress are sent home four times during the year. The first, indicating only effort, is sent at the end of October. The others are after Christmas, after Easter and in June. It is very important that parents review these evaluations and discuss them with their child.
During the school year, Parent-Teacher conferences are scheduled to discuss the students progress. Appointments to see teachers can be arranged through the office.
It is essential that each student complements the classroom activities with home study. We recommend at least two to three hours of home study each evening to include written assignments, revising lessons, and preparing for the next days classes. To assist the student the college, provides a three hour supervised study session in the library, from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
