					 OBJECTIVE

This course is designed for students interested in Law and is particularly suitable for those seeking employment as Legal Clerks in Solicitors Office and Legal Departments of Insurance Companies.  It can also be used as a basis for further professional legal studies. 

				ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS

Leaving Certificate, a minimum of five subjects; inc  
Lluding English, with Honours at Higher Level in at least two subjects.

					REGISTRATION

Cost of this course is �30 which is non refundable and payable on enrolment.   Students must also pay Examination Fees (I.C.M. & Pitman) and a once off Registration Fee of �60 to the Institute of Commercial Management (U.K.)

					WORK EXPERIENCE

Practical work experience will be arranged one day per week for students in the Diploma Year.   The experience will be organised in Solicitors�  firms, Insurance Companies or Companies with Legal Departments.

					CERTIFICATION

  `Students who pass the 3 law subjects receive a Certificate in Legal Studies at the completion of 1 year.   Those who continue and successfully complete the remaining 3 law subjects will receive a Diploma in Legal studies.
