This is principally a self-enrichment course which will help focus and put structure on a body of general knowledge which many people probably already possess. It can also be used as a basis for further study. ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS Open to all those with a genuine interest in the above areas regardless of academic achievement. It will appeal to those with enthusiasm and commitment coupled with a broad based interest in history. COURSE STRUCTURE 1. History of Architecture 2. History of Furniture 3. History of Art and Decorative Art Course includes visits to Ar "t Galleries, Museums, Historical Houses and other areas of interest. COURSE DURATION This Course will commence in late September and operate 5 mornings per week from 9.30.a.m. - 12.30.p.m. There will be a practical input in that many areas of interest covered in the classroom will be visited during the year. Course terminates in Mid May. CERTIFICATION Co. Dublin V.E.C. (College Certificate) REGISTRATION Cost of this course is 250 and will be confined to 20 students.
