Scoil MhuireThe children in Scoil Mhuire make a lot of money for the school by recycling aluminium drink cans. This fosters an awareness in the children of the importance of the environment. We came 5th in Dublin last year in a Collect Cans Competition and this was an amazing achievement for a school this size.
Being on the coastline, we are also interested in the wildlife and especially the birds of the area.
A coastal watch for seals and marine mammals has been set up and the children show a great deal of interest in this. We are quite near to Dublin Port and it is still a busy sea port, providing a topic of study for our school
